A fitting climax to the Best Buddy Award season

Last but by no means least... Killisick Junior School did the Arnold Association of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes proud with their celebration of the achievements of many of their pupils at the Gold Star assembly on Friday 22 July 2011. A high point of this whole school assembly with parents, grandparents and other carers present was the presentation of the Ann Carpenter Best Buddy Award to Jordan Lane, a Year 5 pupil at the School. Kate Vaughan-Newton, Association Chair; Mike Jackson, Association Treasurer were assisted by Bob Vaughan-Newton representing Nottinghamshire Police in his last but one public facing event before his early retirement at the end of July 2011.
